 Russia: Israeli air force attacked Syrian science center

The Israeli Air Force attacked the Syrian scientific center in the city of Masyaf on August 25.

Major General Oleg Yegorov, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria, said RIA-Novosti.

According to Yegorov, four Israeli F-16 fighter jets fired four cruise missiles and 16 guided aerial bombs. Aircraft located in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea sent shells “at facilities on the territory of the research center in the city of Masyaf.”

By the way, new satellite images from ImageSat International (ISI) show that Russia is removing S-300 air defense systems from Syria. In particular, a system located near Masyaf was dismantled.
