Russia fails to appeal suspension from international football tournaments

The Russian Football Union was unable to appeal against the exclusion of Russian teams from participating in FIFA and UEFA international tournaments.
The RFU filed a corresponding appeal against the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) Court of Switzerland.
“The appeal was filed out of time and therefore cannot be considered. Therefore, the judge declared the appeal inadmissible. No costs will be charged or awarded. This decision is communicated to the parties and CAS", — TASS quotes the court's decision.
The RFU had the opportunity to file an appeal within 30 days, but the union did not meet this deadline.
