Russia accumulates equipment near the borders of Chernihiv and Sumy regions

Russian armed forces are once again amassing troops and enemy equipment near the state borders of Ukraine – Chernihiv and Sumy regions, according to The Washington Post.

Every day Russian troops launch from two to eight enemy shells in the Chernihiv region. This was announced by the deputy head of the border service of the region Alexander Vadovsky. Ukrainian defenders are regularly forced to return fire across the state border in order to contain the advance of Russian troops.

“In any case, we are preparing for a possible re-invasion. They attack our positions and cities. Russian troops have no idea about the rules of battle”, – he said.

The same dynamics is observed in the neighboring Sumy region, from which Russian troops were driven out at about the same time as Chernihiv. And in Kharkiv, where Ukrainian defenders pushed the Russian Armed Forces to the state border, they expect that the defense preparations may be replaced by mass battles. Russian troops carried out a missile air strike from an aircraft that did not cross the state border. The rocket was launched from enemy territory.

The houses of civilians in Krasnopolye, about 20 houses and power lines were damaged, and half of the village remains without electricity. Information about possible wounded is being specified.
