Rushdie's son: the attack didn't affect his father's sense of humor

The family of author Salman Rushdie, who was injured at a New York literary event, is happy to be taken off his ventilator. It is reported by AFP “We are very pleased that yesterday he was disconnected from the ventilator”, — wrote his son Zafar on Twitter. According to him, the brutal attack did not affect the brash sense of humor of the British author. As the writer's agent previously reported, the victim, who was stabbed, is slowly but surely recovering.
