Ruins of unknown settlement discovered in China
Chinese archaeologists during excavations discovered the ruins of 70 houses, whose age reaches 8 thousand years. The found settlement is one of the most ancient in the world. The settlement was found in the north of the country in Banneri Balingou in the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia.
A group of archaeologists from the Regional Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology studied an area of about 20 thousand square meters. km. As a result, I discovered the remains of dozens of structures that may belong to the Neolithic era.
More than 40 ash pits and one burial were also found on the site.
