Rolls-Royce has a plan to make Britain a major energy exporter

Rolls-Royce intends to make Britain a major energy exporter

The company believes that the UK will be able to export its small modular reactors (SMRs, English – SMR) and this will allow the country to remain an important exporter of electricity for European countries. The first of these should be the Czech Republic, where Rolls-Royce SMR plans to deploy its revolutionary nuclear power plants by the 2030s.

“There is a great opportunity to export our British technology to the Czech Republic and the wider region to support their aspirations to generate low-carbon energy. Rolls-Royce SMR Designed a Factory Power Plant That Can Provide Clean, Affordable Electricity for Generations to Come,” – says CEO Tom Samson.
