 Rolling blackouts canceled in Kosovo

Kosovo's Ministry of Energy has announced that there will be no announced power cuts. The country has managed to secure a supply of electricity from neighboring Albania.

It was assumed that after every six hours of operation, the electricity would be turned off for two hours. However, it later became known that an electricity sharing agreement had been concluded with Albania.

Kosovo residents usually need more electricity in winter – to heat their homes, while in the summer Albanians – for air conditioning. Therefore, countries can effectively cooperate to meet their needs.
