 Missile alert in Sderot

On the evening of February 1, rocket alarm sirens sounded in Sderot and on the border with Gaza.

“The missile was intercepted by air defense forces,” an IDF spokesman said, while the municipality of Sderot added that not a single rocket fell in the city. A 50-year-old woman was slightly injured when she fell on her way to the shelter.

Nega Yosef, a resident of Sderot, said, “Suddenly, Tseva Adom. The children shouted: “Mom, Tseva Adom!” … By the time I ran to the shelter, an explosion had already been heard. Maybe there was an interception, I don't know. I just got out of the shower, unfortunately we are getting used to it… There was nothing today, so it was very surprising. I didn't even have time to panic. The children immediately ran to the shelter, I ran and closed the window, we waited a few minutes and left. I don't know if it was an explosion from a fall or from an interception”.
