 Jerusalem riots: two arrested

On Tuesday, police worked to quell riots in the Tzur Baher and Silwan neighborhoods in southern Jerusalem. Rioters threw stones, set off fireworks, set fire to garbage cans and threw bottles as police tried to restore order.

During the Israeli police operation, two suspects were detained, Arutz Sheva reports.

During the riots in Tzur Baher, two Arabs were detained, one of whom was holding fireworks and a Palestinian flag, and a thorough search revealed a knife in his possession.

The police also found ready-to-use Molotov cocktails.

The police also worked to restore order in Silwan where rioters threw rocks and fireworks in their direction.
