Ridley Scott will direct a large-scale film with Joaquin Phoenix
The Kitbag movie, set to begin filming this month, with acclaimed director Ridley Scott starring Joaquin Phoenix (The Joker) promises to be massive.
“I decided I wanted to make a movie about Napoleon with Joaquin Phoenix, and I was just talking to Jody Comer and I want her to play his wife, Josephine. I'm interested in this because Napoleon has fought 61 battles in his entire life, and I want to tell a story in which we see six of them, '' Scott said in an interview with Deadline.
As the director confirmed Joaquin Phoenix will star in the movie, and the movie will be released directly on Apple TV + streaming service, bypassing theaters.
