Rape scandal: gynecologist released under house arrest

On Thursday, a court in Haifa released gynecologist Guy Rofe, a gynecologist suspected of sexual abuse against several patients, under house arrest.

This was reported by The Times of Israel.

The court ruled to keep Rofe under house arrest until January 20. All this time he will be at his parents' home. It is noted that Rofe was forbidden to come into contact for 20 days with any of the women who brought charges against him, and to practice medicine for 30 days.

15 women accused the gynecologist of rape, sexual harassment and obscene acts. Three of his patients filed formal complaints with the police. He was arrested on January 3rd.
