 Rains and floods in Pakistan: over 900 dead

This summer, heavy rains and floods in Pakistan have killed at least 903 people.

Pakistani Climate Change Minister Sherri Rehman said, reports CNN.

Thousands of people have lost their homes and food due to this “humanitarian catastrophe”, Rehman said. The minister also wrote on social media that 326 children were among the dead.

According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, 2.3 million people have been affected by heavy monsoon rains and floods in Pakistan since mid-June. At least 95,350 houses were destroyed.
