Quarantine reduced to 7 days

The Director General of the Ministry of Health, Professor Nachman Ash, decided to reduce the isolation to 7 days, provided that the person has not had any symptoms in the last 3 days of quarantine.
This decision will take effect from Thursday.
If symptoms persist, 10 days of isolation should be completed. The decision on the move came after a study of 80 tested on Omicron, the statement said, and indicates that the chance of progress for a live virus after seven days of illness is low at about 6%.
