Russian President Vladimir Putin was not invited to the celebration of the anniversary of the allied landing in Normandy Overlord on 6 June 1944 for the first time in 15 years, reports the Chronicle.info with reference for a New time.
Large-scale commemorative events on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the Normandy operation Overlord in world war II will be held on 5 June in the South of England and 6th of June on the coast of French Normandy.
In addition to the British side in the high-level events will involve the U.S., Canada, France, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic. Invitees also include Germany.
