 Protests against price hikes in Iran: one person died

An Iranian MP said that one person had died during a protest against the government's decision to raise the cost of essential goods.

This is reported by The Times of Israel.

“A resident of Endimeshk was killed during recent rallies in Dizful in the province of Khuzestan,” MP Ahmed Avai said.

The identity of the victim has not been established, the circumstances of death are being disclosed.

Hundreds of Iranians took to the streets in protest against such a decision of the authorities.
