Protests against mobilization in Shoigu's homeland: detentions underway

Protests against mobilization have begun in Tyva (a republic in Russia).

According to press reports, several dozen women protested in the capital of the republic, the city of Kyzyl.

According to the participants, more than 50 local girls came out to protest. The slogans “No mobilization” were heard at the rally.

As noted, harsh detentions of protesters began almost immediately.

It is worth noting that Tuva is the birthplace of the current Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
