Jamie Oliver will teach you to cook from simple ingredients
Star chef Jamie Oliver has launched a new cooking show which teaches people in isolation to prepare tasty dishes from humble quarantine stocks. Keep Cooking and Carry On (“Continue to prepare and move on”) aired on the 4th channel at 17:30 UK time.
For example, in the first issue, Oliver showed how in just a few minutes to make home-made tagliatelle pasta from flour and water and prepare a simple sauce to it – from canned tomatoes and garlic.
Keep Cooking and Carry On the answer of the 4th channel on the challenges of this unprecedented time. Who but Jamie will help us to solve the problem of healthy food to feed a family? – commented the editor of channel 4 Sarah Lazenby.
“To cook healthy meals for themselves and their families has never been more important than now. In this show I will share easy and delicious recipes for the whole family, as well as lots of tips, tricks, and lipchak: what and how to change, how to adapt recipes from what you have in inventory”, – said the presenter.
Despite the fact that many audience members enthusiastically embraced the initiative of the chef, there were those who remained dissatisfied: it turns out, the program comes around the same time with a daily briefing on the coronavirus from the Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
