Israeli TV channel 12 published data on the interrogation of a citizen who shot a terrorist in Beersheba.

The citizen refused to leave the police station without to return the weapon.

The weapon was confiscated for ballistic examination.

The interrogation officer threatened to arrest the citizen if he did not immediately leave the police station.< br />
Ultimately, Police Chief Kobi Shabtai ordered a “fast track ballistics examination and the return of the gun.”

Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked said that in such cases, “the police should common sense”.

The police later issued statements praising the “brave citizen for his terrorist attack".
