Police in Kazakhstan: dozens of corpses missing from morgues in Almaty

41 corpses disappeared from the morgues in Alma-Ata as a result of the riots.

This statement was made by the head of the police department of the city, Kanat Taimerdenov.< br />
According to him, 1,347 weapons were stolen during the mass protests. Basically, we are talking about rifled and smooth-bore weapons, gas and traumatic pistols.

He also accused the protesters of seven attacks on the city's morgues. According to official figures, 160 people died during the riots, including 11 security officials and 149 citizens.
