Poland will demand from UEFA to postpone the match of its national football team against Russia as part of the qualification for the 2022 World Cup.

The corresponding demand was voiced by the Polish Sports Minister Kamil Bortnichuk after Russia's recognition of terrorist organizations “DPR” and “LPR”.

In particular, the Poles propose to move the match to a neutral field, as they are worried about the safety of their players, who supported Ukraine in the conflict with the Russian Federation.

Polish the football union plans to officially send a letter to UEFA and FIFA.

Note that the game between the national teams of Russia and Poland for the right to qualify for the 2022 World Cup is scheduled for March 24 and should be held in Moscow.
