Platino Awards: The best of Ibero-American cinema and television is celebrated this Sunday in Madrid
The Platinum Ibero-American Film and Audiovisual Awards will be held this Sunday in Madrid with a great face-to-face gala that will feature numerous performances, after a last edition marked by the health crisis.
The return takes place the same week that the first edition of the Iberseries Platino Industria Festival took place, a meeting for the exchange and promotion of audiovisual products, an initiative that emerged from the alliance of EGEDA, organizer of the Platino, and the Secuoya Foundation.
The Colombian actress based in Spain Juana Acosta and the Mexican interpreter Luis Gerardo Méndez will be in charge of presenting this VIII edition of the Platinum Awards, in which the Mexican actor Diego Luna will collect the Honor Award.
This face-to-face return of the Platino also brings other news, as there are three new categories. Among which is, Best Cast Acting Female in Film, Best Male Cast Acting in Film and Best Series Creator.
