Plan to build large police complex in Jerusalem approved

The Jerusalem Planning Committee has approved a request from the Israeli police to build a large police station on a hill popular for its scenic scenery.

The 5,000 square meter complex will be built at the foot of a hill. It will replace an approximately 2,000-square-meter temporary structure on an adjacent site that was intended to be a hotel.
The District Planning Committee has rejected most of the allegations against the plan. It is clarified that the size of the building is related to the security requirements in the area.
