The British authorities have allowed part of the accounts of Russian businessman Pyotr Aven to be unfrozen so that he can pay his debts and carry out daily expenses.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the businessman will receive access to £1 million.
Aven was allowed to withdraw £60,000 a month to cover day-to-day expenses. In addition, a businessman can receive a lump sum of 388 thousand pounds to pay off debts that arose after he fell under sanctions and lost access to his accounts.
