The Russian Federation stepped up its forces on the Ukrainian border over the weekend.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told CNN.

According to him, more than 100,000 Russian soldiers were spotted along the Ukrainian and Belarusian borders.

According to him, Washington has warned that Russia's invasion of Ukraine may be inevitable. US allies threatened a package of “devastating economic sanctions” in response.
