Paying for Palestinian flags: Lieberman will cut Ben Gurion's funding

Israeli media reports that Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman is exploring the possibility of reducing funding for Ben Gurion University.

Earlier this week, a video appeared online showing dozens of Bedouin students waving Palestinian flags on campus on Nakba Day.

Lieberman said: “We will not tolerate what we saw at the University Ben Gurion. At the demonstration at the University, things were said that denied the existence of the State of Israel. Therefore, I gave orders to study the behavior of the university in order to apply my authority to reduce its budget”.
