Pantone announces 2023 color of the year

The Pantone Color Institute has chosen 18-1750 Viva Magenta as its Color of the Year.

“Invoking the forces of nature, Pantone 18-1750 Viva Magenta energizes our spirits, helping to strengthen our inner strength,” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the institute, said in the message.

It also notes, Viva Magenta is “a new red that revels in pure joy, encourages experimentation and self-expression without limits.”
