 Panic in Ben Gurion: who could send scary photos

Details of the incident at Ben Gurion Airport have emerged.

A spokesman for the Israel Airports Authority told KAN Reshet Bet radio that the photos appeared to be , were sent to phones using AirDrop on Apple phones and that it was not a cyberattack. The source of the images appears to have been someone on the plane.

Recall that the plane that was about to take off to Turkey, returned to the terminal because the passengers of the flight received messages with photos of the crash on their phones.

The captain of the plane decided to return the plane and reported the incident to the airport security service. Passengers and their luggage are being re-screened.

As soon as the security service confirms that there is no danger, the plane will be cleared to take off.
