Panda cubs shown in Tokyo

The cubs were born to Xingsin Giant Panda, who was brought to Tokyo from China in 2011. Twins – not the first panda offspring. In 2012, she gave birth to a bamboo bear cub, who, unfortunately, soon died of an illness. In 2017, Shinshin gave birth to another cub, according to People.
Due to the severe coronavirus situation, Ueno Zoo has been closed to the public since January 11, 2022. However, an exception was made for the panda show: it will last for three days, and 3,000 people will be able to see the twins – 1 thousand visitors per day. The competition for the right to get to the zoo for a demonstration of pandas was 350 people per seat.
