The Palace of Catherine II in Moscow will be put up for sale by the state company Dom.RF.
According to RBC," ;Dom.RF" get the rights to the ensemble of the Catherine Palace in Moscow. Now the palace is in the use of property management of special projects of the Ministry of Defense. After the sale, this department will receive 80% of the profit.
It is noted that this palace was built for Empress Catherine II, but she did not have time to live in it. After the death of Catherine, her son placed barracks in the palace. In the past, it also housed a cadet corps and a military school, and in the years of the USSR – a military academy.
