New details have emerged about the assassination attempt on Itzik Moshe, a businessman living in Georgia.
A Pakistani terrorist arrested by the Georgian security services claimed during the investigation that he ordered to kill Moshe with a knife: “I received an order from the Iranians to cut his throat, and I am not afraid of that. I feel like an ordinary soldier in the civil service.”
“The organizations that sent me asked me to kill Moshe with a knife. Twice I came to the entrance of Moshe's office building with a large knife. In addition, I also asked that they send me a weapon to kill him. I was ordered to commit the assassination by November 7th.”
Moshe, who previously headed the Israeli-Georgian Chamber of Commerce, runs an Israeli advocacy organization in Tbilisi along with his business activities in the country. He is close to several Israeli politicians, including Likud member David Bitan. Previously, Moshe was the target of an attempted terrorist attack by the Quds Force. and the intelligence organization of the Revolutionary Guards.
