 Pakistan Air Force to be reinforced with new fighters

Pakistan Air Force will replace older aircraft and improve missile defense capabilities with 50 JF-17 fighters.

This is expected to happen next month.
< br /> JF-17s will take part in the March 23 national holiday military parade, Defense Ministry sources said.

Production of the JF-17 began in the late 1980s at a Sino-Pakistani joint venture. Since 2007, the Air Force has received more than 100 aircraft, of which 26 were added in 2020.

The latest jet aircraft have improved “high aiming” capability. The aircraft can fire from any position.
