 PA PM asks Egypt to put pressure on Israel

Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority Mohammad Shtayyeh received the new Egyptian Ambassador to the Palestinian territories, Ihab Suleiman, in Ramallah.

Ynet reports.

Shtayyeh briefed the ambassador on the latest political developments and called on Egypt to put pressure on Israel to stop “crimes against the Palestinian people”.

The sides also discussed strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in a wide range of areas.

The Egyptian Ambassador, in turn, stressed his country's position towards the Palestinians and said that every effort is being made to strengthen relations between the countries.
