Over 2,000 people detained in Alma-Ata in a day

In the largest Kazakh city of Alma-Ata, arrests of participants in protests and riots continue.
According to RIA-Novosti, more than 2 thousand people. According to law enforcement agencies, the detainees participated in illegal actions, looting and other crimes.
Law enforcement officers also seized weapons and ammunition.
