The orange level of weather danger was announced in Moscow and the Moscow region due to heavy snowfall from 21:00 on December 17 to 09:00 on December 18. This was reported on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

In addition, the yellow level of weather danger will continue to operate in the capital until 21:00 on December 18 due to strong winds, gusts of which can reach 15 meters per second in places. Until 12:00 on December 21, a warning of a yellow danger level due to black ice is in effect.
