Israeli Minister of Aliyah and Integration Pnina Tameno-Shete: hundreds of families across the country will host families of new immigrants who have just experienced their personal “exodus from Egypt”. New programs have been introduced for them, such as monthly rental assistance during their first year in the country. But they also need the warmth and open hearts of the entire Israeli society. I will also celebrate Passover with the new immigrants, and together we will sing “How this night is different from other nights.” Happy Freedom Day to all new repatriates who will celebrate it with us for the first time, and to all of Israel.”
