“Operation Defensive Wall 2 begins in East Jerusalem on Sunday”

At the Jerusalem District Police Headquarters, an assessment of the operational situation was completed with the participation of Israeli Police Chief Yakov Shabtai, District Chief Doron Turgeman and leadership district police.
National Security Minister Itamar Be-Gvir instructed the police to prepare and plan Operation Defensive Wall 2. in East Jerusalem.
The operation is scheduled to begin on Sunday, February 12.
As part of the operation, security forces will target “terror nests in the eastern part of the city.”
< br /> Ben Gvir's office stated: “The purpose of the operation is to fight and eradicate terrorism, get to the homes of terrorists and stop terrorism before it arrives to carry out attacks.”
