 Operation Breakwater: IDF arrests five during night raids Palestinians

The military said Thursday that five Palestinians wanted for questioning on suspicion of terrorist activities were arrested overnight in raids in Judea and Samaria.

The IDF statement says that the troops were operating in the vicinity of Ramallah, in Hebron in Judea, as well as in Qalqiliya and several small towns near Shechem in Samaria.

During the operations, the Israeli military was not injured, and all the suspects were taken to Shin Bet security for further interrogation.

In the village of Burka, near Nablus, soldiers detained one terrorist suspect and seized a homemade machine gun, the IDF said.

In Dura, near Hebron, two wanted Palestinians were and arrested. Their pistol was confiscated upon arrest, the IDF said.

There were no reports of major clashes during the IDF's arrest operations on Wednesday night into Thursday.
