 One of the largest gas storage facilities in Europe stopped working due to an accident

A flare fire occurred in one of Europe's largest underground gas storage facilities in Rehden, Germany.

Astora's operator reported that the operation of the storage facility was suspended until the evening of February 2 due to safety reasons.

It is noted that the cause of the fire is unknown, and the consequences for the environment cannot yet be established. Astora employees are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
