Omicron in Israel: confirmed cases rise to 35

14 new cases of infection with the Omicron coronavirus strain, which was first detected in South Africa, have been identified in Israel.

This Friday, On December 10, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.

There are currently 35 confirmed cases in Israel.

Of these, 24 recently arrived from South Africa. England, France, USA, United Arab Emirates and Belarus.

Another six speakers contacted those who returned from South Africa and England. Five patients have no idea how they got infected.

According to the Ministry of Health, 10 infected people recovered from coronavirus more than six months ago or received a second dose of vaccine.

The Ministry of Health is also checking the analyzes of another 52 potential carriers.

Of 87 people, including potential carriers of Omicron, 31 have symptoms, 41 do not, and 15 are awaiting test results.
