The 100-year-old younger brother of the founder of North Korea has died

DiedKim Yong Joo is the younger brother of North Korea's founder Kim Il Sung. He lived to be 101 years old. However, the exact date of his death remains unknown.

The death of Kim Yong-joo was reported by the South Korean agency Yonghap.

According to the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea, the current leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Eun expressed his condolences on the passing of Kim Yong Joo, who held a number of senior positions in the Workers' Party of Korea.

It is noted that the last time the North Korean press published photos of Kim Yong Joo was back in 2015.
