Rap star Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, has been sentenced to one year under house arrest for refusing to register as a sex offender. He was also fined $55,000.
He had to report his criminal record after moving to California. However, according to the BBC, Kenneth Petty admitted that he was unable to do so.
Under US law, registered sex offenders have five days to update their records if their location changes.
Previously, Petty pleaded not guilty, but changed his testimony.
