A study by the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Hebrew University, and the Gaertner Institute at Sheba Medical Center found that newly vaccinated children and adolescents are more protected against the Omicron strain.< br />
This is reported by The Times of Israel.

The study claims that children aged 5 to 11 years old who received two doses of the COVID vaccine have a 2 chance of being infected with Omicron times lower than their unvaccinated peers.

Adolescents aged 12-14 who have been vaccinated with a booster dose in the last two months are 4 times less likely to become infected than their unvaccinated peers.
