New Year's Eve parties have been banned in Morocco amid heightened measures against the increase in the number of new cases of coronavirus infection, according to The Times of Israel.
The Moroccan government has decided to ban all forms of celebration, including including parties in hotels and tourist sites. Restaurants and cafes were ordered to close at 23:30 on New Year's Eve. And from midnight to 6:00 on January 1, a curfew will be in effect.
