The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration has purchased 15,000 antigen tests to be distributed free of charge to new immigrants throughout Israel.
The Jerusalem Post reports.
The tests will be distributed as part of the ministry's “Everything to make you feel good” campaign. This slogan echoes the agency's motto, “Everything to make you feel at home.”
According to press reports, 13,000 elderly returnees have already taken free antigen tests and can contact the ministry for more tests as needed.
It is also reported that in the coming days, the ministry will launch an information campaign in five languages, including Russian, French, Spanish, English and Amharic (the language of the people of Ethiopia), to encourage vaccination against coronavirus among repatriates.
