 Tel Aviv opens new homeless shelter overlooking the Mediterranean

A new homeless shelter has been opened in Tel Aviv, which will be able to accommodate almost 150 people.

Those in need will be able to shower, eat, sleep, receive medical care and consultation.

The new shelter "Gagon" named after the late Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, founder of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.

The NIS 36 million ($11 million) building was designed by Tel Aviv architect Yoav Messer and is located on Elisabeth Bergner Street.< br />
The shelter is only open from 15:00 to 9:00 the next morning.
