The Seismological Institute of Finland recorded four seismic events of unclear origin in the Gulf of Finland near Russia's Primorsk and Vyborg. The events took place approximately in the area where the Nord Stream pipeline passes.

The events took place on October 20 and 21, and the Finnish press drew attention to them on Monday .
According to seismologists, the explosions occurred in Russian territorial waters about 40 kilometers southwest of Vyborg. According to the information on the map on the Gazprom website, the Nord Stream gas pipeline runs in approximately the same area, but the exact distance from the seismic events to the pipeline has not been determined.
Seismic events occurred from 12:35 until 18:32 EDT: at 12:35 a shock of magnitude 2.0 was registered, at 14:02 – magnitude 1.5, at 17:54 – magnitude 1.5, at 18:32 – magnitude 1.4.< br />
Another seismic event was recorded on Friday in the same area at the same time interval.
