New COVID anti-records in Israel: 18,780 new cases

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, a total of 1,483,175 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Israel.
About this is evidenced by data provided by the press service of the Ministry of Health on the evening of January 9.
It is clarified that 18,780 new cases of infection were detected. Of 214 655 tests, 9.48% gave a positive answer. Currently, 106 107 patients are active carriers.
Today, 172 patients are in serious condition, 49 of them are connected to artificial lung ventilation (ALV) devices. During the entire period of the coronavirus epidemic, 8,259 people died.
The number of Israelis vaccinated with the first dose reached 6,620,174. The second received 5,962,302, and the third – & ndash; 4 320 651.
