Netflix CEO Thad Sarantos announced the launch of a universe based on the popular 2021 South Korean TV series The Squid Game.
“The Game in a squid” gained great popularity in a short time after the release. Within a month it was watched by 111 million viewers worldwide, which brought Netflix over a billion dollars.
Due to the incredible success of the project, Sarantos announced the creation of an entire universe based on the series. About what projects will be included in the expanded universe, not yet reported.
