 Netanyahu and Smotrich on the death of a MAGAV fighter: this must be fought

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the death of a MAG soldier Senior Sergeant Asil Suaed, who was wounded the day before at the Shuafat checkpoint

The head of government wrote about this in his social network account.

“On behalf of all Israeli citizens, I express my sincere condolences to the family of Senior Sergeant Asil Suaed, a fighter of the Border Police , who died this evening as a result of a terrorist attack at the Shuafat checkpoint. May his memory be blessed,” he wrote.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also expressed his condolences, noting that the State of Israel mourns the death of the fighter. Commenting on a series of terrorist attacks committed by Palestinian teenagers, he noted that “the killing of Jews for being Jews, — not the only threat.”

“They grow up in a cruel and inflammatory society that brainwashes them, and this must be fought,” Smotrich stressed.

Recall, 22 -year-old MAGAV fighter, Sergeant Asil Suaed, died from injuries received as a result of the attack on the Shuafat checkpoint early evening, 13 February. He was checking the bus with a civilian guard when the 13-year-old terrorist pulled out a knife and attacked him. The guard shot the terrorist and hit the fighter.
