NANO Nuclear Energy Inc., a US company working on the development of the portable advanced nuclear microreactor ZEUS, has established a subsidiary to develop, improve and accelerate domestic production of high grade low enriched uranium (HALEU) in the United States.
NANO Nuclear Energy CEO James Walker said the company has come to understand the “unique importance” of HALEU fuel in the development and distribution of advanced nuclear reactors both for the company and for the development of national nuclear technologies.
